I liked it overall, far less predictable than a lot of S Korean productions. The VIPs were super cringey though. It was a fun watch.
my hometown man. come through again and I'll sign us up for a tour. You will be so wasted you wont know or care if the town sucks i realize your post is super old now
'Only Murders in the Building'. Eh, I expected more. I just hate the whole social media/podcast aspect to it because it colors my opinion, it's annoying.
It'll probably be a long while before I am back up that way, heading back to the west coast this summer.
I just blew through season 1 of the new Prime series "Tell Me Your Secrets". I thought it was pretty damn good. 7.4 rating on IMDB. Give it a shot.
I'll probably wait until there is enough worthwhile content on Apple TV to subscribe and binge it for a while. I've been steering clear mainly because I don't like Apple as a corporate entity, as their proprietary crap makes my professional life more difficult. what is the nidra?
Definitely the best feel good show on TV at the moment for me. Helps to be both a soccer and a grid iron fan. Can't wait for season 3.
The ending was predictable and clunky. But it's popular enough that it will get a terrible second season.
I skipped Tiger King when we had all the hype and now just started watching, gotta say Dr Bhagavan Antle and Dr Mantis Toboggan are way too close, I yell out Mantis Toboggan every time the guy is on camera now.
WTF would 'Dexter' be brought back? The only thing I really enjoyed was the John Lithgow segments and supposedly he's back. The ending of the original series sucked, but I had actually stopped tuning in for a long time prior. Obviously the answer is money of course, but just from a creative standpoint, I just can't see it. I'm sure it will get plenty of ratings, though.
The AppleTV shows (Invasion, Mosquito Coast) I’ve been watching are probably shittier quality in terms of actual shows then most of the other services provide. But they’re all shot like movies and it keeps me engaged with a sound system that can handle what I believe is Dolby Atmos and 4K cameras.
Stuck at home I've been burning through shows/movies in Netflix I'm into cheesy space stuff, so I thought Another Life was a good binge. I never played a second of League of Legends, but Arcane is actually a solid show without knowing they are related. A few episodes into the live action Cowboy Bebop. It's OK. Red Notice was better than I expected, it was decent.
I'm most of the way through Arcane, yeah its surprising. Still sort of rings of video game production a little but not enough to put me off, and the art is like crack. It's so good. I'll probably check out Cowboy Bebop too because it looks to be similar as far as the animation goes.
