I mean I'd rather them play Flacco than Mike White (he's dog shit) and if Wilson isn't healthy don't force him out there.
For what purpose, a PLAYOFF PUSH?! Just roll White out there and see if he can be a legit long term backup or not. If Flacco stinks this week is it Josh Johnson come on down time?!
Amen. You have to wonder about Wilson's readiness to play. Is the team protecting his knee or his ego/self-confidence? If Wilson isn't ready, why not start White? At least, the team can see whether he's good enough to be their back-up for the next few years. Nothing new to learn about Flacco.
Saleh has been taking heat this week. He's playing Flacco only so its a close game and get the media off his back. Pathetic
Trying to justify giving up anything for him? Should have played White and if he wasn't remotely presentable out there could have always made a switch during the game.
Wilson is still recovering. I got a first hand look at this on Sunday when I was at the Buffalo game. Wilson was working with our training staff for a while doing sprints and movements with his knee. You could see him speaking to the trainers telling them it is a little stiff still. It is a logical approach to wait it out and not rush him back in. They are not protecting his ego, that is for sure. Below is actually a photo from Sunday as he was working pregame.
Flacco is Woody's thing, I'd bet my life on it. That trade went against everything Joe Douglas has been doing.
Until Wilson plays there is no reason to watch the Jets. Once Wilson plays, there is barely any reason to watch, but at least we can hope he improves.
It's not hard to figure out what Mike White is in this league. He's a dink and dunk, checkdown passer that will struggle to push the ball downfield. He can be a solid backup with a quality run game to support him. If MW starts against Miami it's going to be another 3-4 INT game. There are still other young players that need experience on the offensive side of the ball and putting Mike White in there is a wasted game for those guys. We're at the end of the 2-4 week timetable for Zach's injury. Odds are he will be playing next week.
- TE Kenny Yeboah and CB Rachad Wildgoose signed to active roster. - CB Brandin Echols placed on IR. - LB Corey Thompson and WR Keelan Doss signed to practice squad - LB Noah Dawkins placed on practice squad IR. May finally see Yeboah. He was strictly a TE moving up from the PS, now he’s on the actual roster.
A Rachad Wildgoose interception return has the makings of an interesting TV call, but we always get the Z crew from CBS so they'd just screw it up and our defense doesn't do interceptions anyway.
