White. But it would be typical Jets to put the first competent QB we've had in forever on the bench because of what round he was drafted in.
Who starts at quarterback is like 5 places down on the to-do list. When opponents are scoring on every drive... a strong arm Jesus couldn't get us any wins.
JJ played great. Let's get Zach into this same offensive scheme. It made two career backups look great. Hats off to Mike LeFluer.
This is where I'm at. White and Josh look competent and calm. Zach looks overwhelmed. Let him sit and learn. Don't ruin him.
Maybe the QBs who aren't playing can go help out on defense. I mean, can they do any worse than the guys who are paid to play on that side of the ball?
Still gonna say Zach. This year, next year, the year after that, are all about figuring out what Zach is so why delay that process? Hopefully these last 2 games have shown him that he doesn't have to play hero ball to be an effective QB in this league.
While I know backup QBs are always the most popular player in town, in this case it definitely is Mike White as best present option. he’s had a couple years on sidelines to process the NFL and it’s showing. Wilson needs a little time. on a side note, clearly Josh Johnson over Flacco in interim as well.
Why force the Zach card if there is a possibility for better play from other guys? Not like the Jets wouldn't be able to pawn off ZW to another QB needy team for draft capital.
Its weird- the PR was that Douglas and Saleh thought that White and Johnson were good enough QB depth behind Wilson. I think its pretty clear that was just a ploy to avoid a QB controversy, since once Wilson went down Douglas immediately traded for Flacco. But it seems that Douglas was accidentally right the entire time...White and Johnson are sufficient QB depth.
I’m half kidding…I still have high hopes for him in the future but JJ and White look like HOF’ers compared to most of his play this year in the same offense. Going to the booth can’t be this much of a difference or can it?
