I remember Dr. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif from the draft and I was hoping we’d take a flier on him. That’s not actually true. Not at all.
He plays guard. They been looking at guards to bring in for a few weeks now. GVR starting spot likely in jeopardy
Considering Brown was terrible and barely played, it's hard to complain. LDT isn't exactly good but he might be better than GVR. LFG!
I advocated for this move a while back. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he takes over that RG spot from GVR sooner rather than later. To get him for only Daniel Brown? Very solid move IMO.
I don't know if he's any good at playing guard, probably not, but impressive guy! https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...-tardif-working-doctor-2020-covid/5522399001/
Damn, KC must be desperate for STs help. I'm glad to see Brown go and JD do something to try to help improve the OL.
Even if this guy is terrible we did not give up much. Brown was on the team to play STs. JD never stops working.
Love that last part even if he's lying. But he apparently did have a no trade clause which means he had to choose to come here.
Yep, because he felt he was needed as a Dr. His priorities were in the right place, i.e., helping others rather than just doing something for himself.
