This sucks too, but the Jets do have depth at WR. Moore and Cole on the outside, Crowder and Berrios in the middle. Denzel Mims playing more. It's solid enough. Having Mike White throwing to them though? Could be a problem. I am revising my Bengals by 50 prediction because I believe this team can show some heart on Sunday. Bengals-38 Jets-17.
White, what do you do after throwing a pass over the middle? Shed a block and go tackle the defender who caught it? Excellent. Show me.
One thing that jumps out at me about this game is its probably a good game for Zach to miss. Our o-line has only faced one good DL this season, Carolina, and we know how that went. The Bengals DL looks better than the Panthers. Whoever is playing QB is going to get their brains beat in. We'll need quick hit passes more than ever this game. We'll see if LeFluer is up to it?
The only thing that will be different tomorrow is that LaFleur, in an effort to shake it up, will go pass, pass, run, punt on the first drive. Other than, it'll be a more disastrous version of what we saw against the Patriots because the Bengals actually have explosive talent on offense.
