Fields and Sanchez both played on college teams where the talent around them was always better than the opponent too and I'm not sure that helped them. I can see the comparison
Define open it up. The running game has been effective. They are a taking shots downfield. They connected on a few of them against the Lions but barely missed them against the Raiders.
That doesn’t mean they are not talented. It also doesn’t mean Trevor’s teams weren’t stacked in comparison to the rest of the ACC in his time there.
Ok. sorry to give a tiny bit of criticism to your hero boy. Last in the league in completions and yards but I'm sure he's playing great
No need to apologize. Last in the league in completions but #1 in your heart apparently. He’s not playing great at all. However, he is playing better than the stats reflect IMO.
Pennington was kind of like this in the spot Wilson is right now. Fortunately he was able to sit 2 years and develop, which is what I wish they did with Wilson, but after his dynamic rookie year (2002), Pennington sucked in 2003. We blamed it on Paul Hackett, and no doubt he was terrible, but Pennington himself said he was thinking too much and that's what caused him to miss basic throws and reads that he shouldn't. Pennington was able to get past that, hopefully Wilson can. Thats why I say he should be thinking about anything BUT Jets football or LaFleur's bonehead offense right now. Toss it around with your buddy John Beck. Take in the BYU game saturday, eat some home cooking from his MILF mom and come back relaxed and letting it rip.
Maybe that the problem, can he just be a solid QB rather than special? I mean Blake and Allen are not special but they are solid QBs who give team a chance. It’s mind boggling that some here think he s going to be hall of famer etc . Let it take care of itself.
I don't think I said "hall of famer". Did I? I didn't realize the word "special" means Hall of Famer. Who the fuck is Blake?
Well, he definitely needs to do something. Right now he can't complete the simplest of passes. Objectively speaking, those are passes you and I could complete with relative ease. I never saw him miss those easy throws at BYU, so honestly there's got to be a good reason for this? I think it's nerves. Either way, NY is certainly not the most understanding of cities. I think Zach will make the most of this bye week and he'll come back with much better accuracy.
