I used to be a diehard New Yorker and would champion NYC evey chance I got, but I have since softened by stance. The people are so fucking rude. That said, it's 1000 times better than Boston. Boston is a slightly better version of Hartford. Fuck Boston.

Not a ton, but I looked up the splits and we should have the pitching edge even if slight.

Eovaldi has a 5.90 ERA against the Yankees (and got shelled last putting against them) while Cole has a 5.00 ERA against the Sox.

I might be wrong but I believe Voit crushes Eovaldi too so I hope he's in the lineup (he won't be).

 

He hasn't pitched great down the stretch but I'd be surprised if he didn't pitch a great game. This is what the Yankees got him for.

 

I thought Luke was on the IL.

Only the 607th hr Cole has given up in fenway in the past month...

 

Cole does not look good. Multiple fastballs right down the pipe, then an 89mph change up dead center that gets destroyed.

 

Just not a good feeling with our offense tonight. Hopefully it's wrong.

 

Twice these Boston umps have screwed the Yanks on check-swings they held up on.
