If ZW doesn't show promise against an already marginal Titans defense missing half their starters--I'm not going to be too optimistic about this kid's future. TL was able to put together a respectable game against the Bengals, no excuses for ZW here.

 

Don't forget ...to win you usually need more points than a field goal

Count the minutes the Jets D stays on the field and then check the scoreboard lol

 

Did TL have more protection Thursday night..?

I watched the game, TL had better protection and way better play design that had guys open immediately. It was very rookie friendly.

I was smitten when we hired LaFleur--so I'll be the first to admit I was very wrong about the hire IF he continues down this path.

 

Yep we heard the last name LaFleur and we all thought we will be the Green Bay Packers East Coast ...too funny

Bad news guys: Each day this week I have felt more and more confident that the Jets will actually win tomorrow. Bad news because my optimism and feeling like the Jets can win is usually rewarded with blowout losses.

So my prediction is 23-16 Jets, which means it will likely be 30-13 Titans.

 

I don’t think the Jets could stop Henry if they put 8 in the box every play.
He will still run all over us, and the chance of him busting a couple of 50 plus yard runs just goes up.

 

Some day maybe waking up on game day will be worth getting excited about again. Instead of just in week 1 every year.

 

I’m feeling really good about today. I’m almost certain we will score a TD!

Definitely would be on many NFL rosters in the same capacity as he is with the Jets, don't fool yourselves.

I'll be in Philly watching the Eagles/Chiefs game at the stadium. Got the Jets set to record so I'll check it out when I get home tonite. I think the Jets might make a game out of this. They don't live in a vacuum and they know generally that the public perception of the team absolutely sucks. Wouldn't be a bad time for Woody to show up and just either give a short speech OR be in the Owner's box today.

 

I agree. I don’t expect a win nor do I expect ZW to have a career day but would like progress, reading the defenses, etc.
