I do not think Crowder is healthy. He was working with trainers all week on his groin and missing reps in practice

That isn't going to go down well in the team harmony stakes though I doubt Roten faces Becton down about the comments lol

So a 4 drops difference is what is keeping Zach from top of ACTUAL CMP% rankings?

Not sure that’s shade. What’s the alternative response? Throw the OL or CS under the bus instead? I think it was possibly the best answer to a potential gotcha question.

No, I don't think those numbers are accurate and accounting for last week.

    The Jets have 8 now.

Arizona has 2. Dallas has 2. Seattle has 0.

    So a 6 drop difference

Edit: it was a dumb comparison because adjusted completion percentage factors in more than just drops. It also factors in spikes, throw aways, batted balls, and balls disrupted by a QB hit. I was not aware of that.

Either way, his completion percentage would be at 70% which is very high.

Oops. I missed that. what did that Worthless lineman say? I find it disgusting that the worst player in our offensive line and probably the worst starting right guard in the league talks shit. Wilson average time in the pocket is 1.7 seconds. No QB in the league, never mind a rookie, can be successful. When Becton gets back we should get rid of his ass and put Fant or anyone else there

He said that Wilson needs to get rid of the ball quicker lol

Fuckin idiot. Whether that's true or not, you don't make that comment when you are one or the worst lineman in the league right now. Not to even mention that the Jets entire issue is centered around his play in particular. He's getting beat more than any other lineman on the field.

I don't think you quite get the metaphor. either way you are allowed to think what he said is fine, just like i'm allowed to think it's not. at the end of the day it's all about performing on the field and he sucks

Wilson gets 1.7 seconds before the pocket starts to collapse. Worst in the league I'm guessing. GVR is by far the biggest offender by a factor of 3. He is the the root cause of our problem.. I saw one play against Denver were he got pushed back five yards and the defender wrapped our RB for a 7 yard loss. He should keep his mouth shut and show us something on the field. No QB can be successful behind this putrid line at this point. GVR should look at himself in the mirror on his way to the unemployment line.
As much as I love JD I'm officially questioning and blaming him why we kept this turd and not improve the position, and blaming the OC as to why is the passing scheme so inefficient across the board.

My issue with his comments is he sucks fuckin balls and is the main reason this line is so bad. How can that same guy sit here and give any advice or criticism?

That's equivalent to a baseball player making an error over and over again and then saying "well our pitching needs to be better at throwing strikes".

Get the fuck out of here. Block someone you idiot

I agree with you. others don't. quinnen could have called out the offense, he didn't though. the d-line and CB groups are playing way above expectations.

These fucking guys can't catch. Each game has had game changing passes dropped. Watching other games, you see receivers make contested catches, overhead catches, diving catches, and especially easy catches, even if the ball comes to them hard on a shorter route. I understand a couple of drops a game, but so far through 3 games, all of our backs and receivers catch like double amputees.

If he ever plays, Crowder won't drop balls like these guys have so far.

Last season we had Van Rotten for much of the year, then Van Roten showed up later in the year and things got better. Let's hope that happens again this year. I much prefer Van Roten over Van Rotten.

I get the frustration with Van Roten and the OL. However, let's take a step back and consider all the great QB's who have played in the past few decades: Brady, Manning, Favre, Brees, Roethlisberger etc. Were they great because the OL was great? No. In fact, pretty much the opposite, no one really cared who played on the OL for these guys. Sure some linemen were good, maybe even HOF, but mostly these QBs continued to be great even though their OLs were often plug and play. You can't have an all-pro at every OL position. The great QBs were able to take advantage of the OL strengths and cover up for the weaknesses. Therefore, it's the play of the QB that determines how well an offense, and by default, the OL is functioning. For the Jets, they need to have Wilson and the other skill positions performing at the level they hoped they would when they brought them on board. When that happens, we won't be concerned about the OL so much.
