I never watch football postgame pressers, but I watched this one and Saleh had 3-4 canned responses and literally bolted from the podium. That was weird.
Very astute observation. In the first game too he made a key drop. In the second game he causes INT. Drops, inability to catch key passes in this game too. This is supposed to be our #1 WR? I thought JD fixed WR position after making a mistake or letting Anderson walk, but now I am thinking Sam actually had more to work with here than Zach does.
Entering his 5th year actually. JD is looking for bargains, guys who are just entering their prime and ready to have a breakout year. The key is to hit on these though since they are not proven yet, and unfortunately so far he missed on pretty much all of these "bargains".
Game day thread: good for culling the ignore list. Worked great today. What's that? Never seen you post before besides your doomsday game thread post? Goodbye!
Nothing will change until the Johnson family sells the team. And Woody won't sell until the fanbase has made him so sufficiently embarrassed about his incompetence that selling becomes his only escape hatch.
I vent in GD threads but, I try not to be over the top. More sarcasm than "fire" and "cut" everyone under the sun.
This is true and it is likely due to four primary causes: 1. Teams have film on the Jet's O and on Zach Wilson now. 2. Zach Wilson has been getting beat up on a regular basis and is probably somewhere between hearing footsteps and happy feet at this point. 3. The Jet's offensive staff has adjusted to the reality they face by toning things down a bit trying to protect Wilson. 4. The Jets as a team are getting frustrated by the shortcomings on both sides of the ball. Nobody likes to lose and nobody really expected the Jets to be a lumpy mess at this point. The bye is coming up after game 5 this season. The Jets will really need to have some solutions to the issues above in place coming out of the bye or we are headed towards another top 2 pick - a pick the Jets will face heavy pressure to spend on a QB, whether one is there or not.
This all falls on the owner, woody, who hired a shit GM who can't evaluate talent, and hired a head coach who is in over his head. Whoever can't see this I don't know what to tell you
Rex Ryan isn't even 60 yet. Hire him (and his dopey brother as DC) and let him run the wishbone option for all I care. He can't be worse than this. Hire Tannenbaum, too.
was watching NFL redzone earlier and saw Rob Ryan on the Ravens sideline - did a bit of a double take
Seats are definitely getting warm. I think just by virtue of the six year deal, JD is safe this year. I suppose if they win one or two games this year that can change. Him and Saleh go into next season on the hot seat.
