I guess there really is no good reason to get last year's AL home run leader into the lineup when the season is on the line if you have can't miss guys like Gardner and Odor you just have to play. Talk about an embarassment of riches.

I can only assume it's because Judge was dealing with some soreness so they don't want him playing a big center field at Fenway. or they continue to be clueless, same result.

Voit can't be our first basemen while we trot out an infield that's half out of position because we must play Torres for reasons I don't understand.

This game so far is classic 2021 Yankees. Score a ton of runs the previous game, get 3 hits the next.

    Yea he's a roller coaster.

Cora opened the door to that GS by taking Hauke out in my opinion. That basically was all in to get Rizzo out. If he leaves Hauke in and Rizzo gets on base, Hauke has that sweeping breaking ball that kills Stanton. Thought it was questionable when he pulled him... That and Hauke is a really good pitcher and that lefty is not

Stanton has been absolutely clutch. That was one of the biggest HR's I've ever seen. And it wasn't a cheap shot. That fucker still hasn't landed.

I know he's not worth his contract but man he's put up some great numbers.

You gotta take Sanchez out after that pitiful 6th inning that they escaped.

He played some outfield and became a different hitter. It's been said for months, just give him a few times a month in the outfield.

I'm so numb to him I don't know what you're talking about.

Is this sarcasm on his good play to third?

It's the first time him being trash behind the plate saved him. I can't imagine he starts the wild card game behind the plate. It's not like he adds a ton as a hitter anyways.

I will say I've been wrong about this team in a pretty big way. I forgot this wasn't the Jets. Stanton's been a stud and it's crazy because I'm 100% convinced he decided before each pitch if he's going to swing or not before the pitcher even steps on the rubber.

Nice Yankees ML +110 pickup too. :D

Loaisaga needs to come out for the 8th there after breezing through the 7th. Rather than Clay Holmes on back to backs especially when he labored yesterday.

Biggest AB of the season, Gary strikes out in less than 90 seconds.

Gary Sanchez past 2 at bats
2 strikeouts, 6 pitches in about 2 minutes and 15 seconds. He literally kills this team.

Outside of the Yankees owning the twins, not sure there's another matchup where a team (Ray's) own another team (Yankees) so much. It's mental also at this point.
