Do I change the thread title or no? What a turnaround by Quinned. He is a beast and will be better in years to come. I love our young core overall. This upcoming coaching hire is monumental. We can't screw it up.
First, do not change the title, if you want a toddler to start potty training you leave him in his shitty diaper for a little while and let him be uncomfortable, same thing here, let @6-10 once again wear his shit. 2. It wasn’t a turnaround, he battled through an ankle sprain last year but there were flashes. People are just too impatient to let players grow.
To be honest I could see this win coming maybe not against the Rams but we were on borrowed time we should’ve won the raider game..I’ve noticed A slight uptick of the offensive line play...all three receivers are healthy..Q been a beast... B. Hall has looked good ...With a coach that knows what the hell he’s doing and a good draft who knows
guidry looking like a steal, he maybe the new slot guy. Still would like to bring in two corners, both to push Hall who's IMO instinctually sound and has what it takes to start. Bless is more of a depth piece IMO. Btw this thread looking like a massive bust. Woof. Q is arguably better against the run then Donald is. Donald is straight a monster as a pass rusher, but Q is starting to show he ain't no slouch neither. If this man becomes anything near Donald, that's a big time piece. He also seems to bring up whoever is around him. Suddenly guys like JFM, Fatukasi, Shepard have good days being next to Q. They maybe talented but i'm sure playing with someone as dominant as Q has been this year has helped.
Wow, so maybe Bosa wasn't the only nugget in the draft. And maybe there's hope if/when we lose Trevor.
don’t underestimate his pass rushing abilities Doesn’t he have seven sacks on a year?...Also he’s been in the back Field all season long...I don’t know how many QB Pressure he has but I would imagine he has quite a few
Any update on his health from Sunday?Looked like he was about to vomit when he was walking to the locker room, a sign of a concussion.
His pass rush win rate is near the top of interior DLinemen. Brock Huard mentioned how dominant Q was as a run defender, doing better then Donald. He’s elite now.
First place to start is looking at how many bullshit roughing the passer penalties he had as indication of QB pressure.
With a coach whose greatest strength is motivating and coaching up the defensive line, I don't think 12 sacks is out of the question for Q next year.
I'm glad he made me eat crow in 2020. He's a building block who should be able to get even better going forward.
Could be a combo of any or all of these: 1) Back too soon. Seems too risky for a rebuilding team to do. 2) Reaggravated the surgical injury. 3) Not in football shape. 4) Playing slow to avoid reinjury. 5) Not playing instinctively due to lack of camp reps.
Don't worry we won't resign him when his rookie contract is up and he'll go somewhere else and look like a stud
Nah, we'll trade him to the Giants, pat ourselves on the back how we "fleeced" them, then he'll go on to become one of the league's sack leaders.
