Considering the 2 INT's already In the game, being In the RZ, we couldn't afford risks at this juncture In the game. Not sure why people are complaining about the play call there. It was smart considering everything so far.
Maybe he would have if the ball was in a better spot, Wilson only had like fifty yards to work with there he was so wide open and he put it on the sideline.
They went conservative because Zach has 2 INTs and he sure doesn't need another mistake. Get the 3, keep it close and positive. Smart coaching IMO.
To me it feels more like over-protecting him after the 2 INT's. LaFleur has had some head scratching moments so far already this year.
To put it in perspective, my brother in law is 43 years old, hasn’t worked since 2007 when the gas station he was managing got robbed and he has post traumatic stress or something which makes him too nervous to work. He sleeps on his grandmothers sofa and lives off his $1100 monthly check…..and drinks all my beer when he is here to the extent that he cant ride his bike back home so my wife ori have to drive him.
Exactly this. It wasn't bad playcalling, It was conservative. That doesn't automatically translate to bad play calling because It was conservative. It was smart given everything that has transpired so far. We are somehow IN this game still.
Exactly. If you’re gonna try an inside zone on 3rd and goal, you should probably get out of 12 personnel or go full goal line set.
