Come on man its a young team with new coaches and 1st game of the season. Plenty of teams loom really bad this time of year and do fine.
He's had at least 7-8 drops where he made an accurate pass. So he should be something like 14-20 or 15-20. How is he supposed to complete longer passes when he's running for his life and his receivers are dropping the ball when he does have time to throw a longer pass? Also, several of those passes that were dropped were longer passes, which would have increased his yards per pass average. You have NOT listed many reasons why he isn't playing well. That's ridiculous. You cited his completion percentage, which isn't his fault. He's been accurate on most of his throws. He's made maybe 3-4 poor throws. Add in those dropped passes and his completion percentage and QB rating is a lot better. All those dropped passes and ineffectiveness of the rushing attack, and stupid play calling have a negative effect on an offense and a QB. None of that is Zach's fault. With as much as he has been running for his life and hit, it's a wonder he hasn't fumbled more Quit saying I want the narrative to be a certain way. That's a damn lie! I just think it's stupid and wrong to say that he isn't playing well. No one else on offense is. Zach has not contributed to the problems on offense. That's just dumb.
lets finish strong here and give us something to feel good about. We are winning the half 8-3 id love it to be 15-3
