I'm not playing the what-if game.. Fact Is. He has looked bad, just like the rest of the offense. Rookie or not.. That Is a fact. He Is not the sole reason for this offense looking like shit, but, he certainly Is contributing to the shit.
I knew that there would be issues, but I didn't think we'd see this shit show. It's been awful. The OL sucks, the WRs suck, Ulbrich and LaFleur suck. The only positives have been Zach, one catch by Davis, and Ammendola.
It's not that bad yet. This game is not giving me a Gase vibe or a late Rex vibe, it's more like a Todd vibe.
If the team at least attempts to make adjustments during the half I'll be happy. Well not happy, that's not possible as a Jets fan, but something close to that.
Defense is struggling, too many starters out already and they werent that great to begin with. Oline is terrible today. I expect this early in the season. The starters have barely played together, but the play calling on both sides has not been good at all. Short passing game should be a priority, not this bullshit theyve been doing
The defense is holding their own. The offense line looks worse than last year. ATV and Becton are being humiliated
Agreed. He's made some mistakes, but...consider that he's had almost no time, and several great passes dropped. As everyone here was quick to call Darnold trash playing behind a shit OL and for a shit CS, let's take that into account if we're being realistic.
