I would not be surprised if we are looking to trade him. He's a good piece to move with the depth at WR and Elijah Moore on the roster.
Oh for sure. We need more depth, no doubt. My point was just that Kroft is not a POS at the position. He showed good promise in his outing against Green Bay. Just needs to stay healthy.
I think he has that without Crowder. It is obvious Davis is becoming a big 3rd down receiver and before Moore was injured, he was heavily targeted by Wilson. This WR corp is so deep, losing Crowder I do not think will hurt Wilson.
I get the whole thing of, I drafted a guy and they are my guy ie Zuniga/Perine but to me that is so short sided. Zuniga and Perine were out performed this year in camp and it was obvious. I would have stuck with Adam's, that freaking guy runs hard. Zuniga, has he done a single thing in his Jet career?
Adams is on this roster now. And the logic is not that they are his guys so he wants to keep them. The logic is that those guys have been on the roster for 1 season. How the hell can you fully evaluate a player in that time, especially with the changeover in the coaching staff and system? He is not keeping them because he feels he has to because he drafted them. He is keeping them because they have been in the NFL for one damn season LOL
Prediction: I will go out on a limb, they will not be in the team next year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think Perrine will. I like Perrine and think he could be very useful on the goal line in this offense. Although, they are both UF graduates. We all know how I feel about UF players in the NFL LOL
I don’t see it. Perine has not flashed at all! Maybe not as bad as Zuniga, but Adams beat him out for sure. I see little to no burst. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Again, I think they are envisioning Perrine as a goal line back. He is a powerful down hill runner. They have Ty Johnson, Tevin Coleman, and Michael Carter to rotate downfield. I just think Adams style of running was similar to what we already have on the roster and they felt more comfortable with Johnson, Coleman, and obviously Carter.
Maybe true, but if I really needed a yard I would give ball to Adams before I would to Perine. Just me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s not just you. Perrine sucks. It’s becoming quite apparent that JD is willing to protect his shitty draft record rather than keeping more talented guys on this team. pretty clear that Maye, Mosley, Crowder and any other talent that he didn’t specifically bring in will be out next. Fuck that noise. You don’t get 10 years to create new holes and perpetually rebuild. You add to the talent you have. JD looks like more of the same.
I like crowder, I really do, but but he time we’re ready to win he’ll be gone anyway. I’m not bummed if we keep him, but I’m ok if we deal too.
