I think this will be your year. As a yankee fan, I hate the way they are built with the every position in the lineup swings for the fences, home run or bust bullshit. 3-4-5 should be the power hitters, the rest should be guys who get on base. I think it's our year too not only because I'm a homer but because this is the strongest Rays team within Franchise history and I feel losing to the Dodgers last year made us mentally tougher. 26-4 gets us the MLBs top 5 Record of All-Time and I think they're going to do it. PS: If Yankees win 1 game playoff series to get it? That's the only team I DO NOT want to see.
That was a killer way to end the season. Best team in the AL during regular season and they bow out to the Red Sox 3-1 in the first round. Maybe they do need a front line starter and not a bunch of relievers.... But hey. They were making history!!!!
