I'd go as high as 2 because we have multiple, unless I'm mistaken, and two first round picks. If we had a normal stash of picks I'd say 3-4 rounder.

I'm quite shocked. IDK how he fell off so bad and fell out of favor with the jets. something seems off.

Either way hope we got a good return for a young cheap TE with potential. Seems like it'll be griffin, brown, and kroft. with wesco at FB. Seems like we are prioritizing blocking for our TEs over receiving.

I would love Zach Ertz too because after trading Herndon and releasing Yeboah we have 0 TE talent whatsoever not even untapped potential.

I'd give away both 4th round picks for Ertz or 1 2nd

We do have multiple 2's this year thanks to the Sam trade. Even at that, highest I'm going is a 3. I might even want a pick back if I trade a 3 too.

    Like a 3rd for Ertz and a 6th/7th.

Wed be insane to risk a 2nd rounder on a potentially washed player. Could it have been one down year on a bad team? Sure. Just as likely could be the first year of a downtrend and he’s not good anymore.

we have drafted bad but doesn't tell the whole story. many of them are sucessful, we just traded them for picks to rebuild. Adams is "gone" but a top safety in the NFL and netted us 2 1st rounders and more, Leo is gone but made the pro bowl and just got 20 mil a year and netted us a 3rd and 5th. Darnold is gone but we kinda fucked him over and we got a 2nd, 4th, and 6th for him. Thos players being gone is why we are stacked for picks this year and next.

A 2nd or 3rd for a one year 30 year old rental at tightend that's due $8.25 million and notably is just dying to find his way to whatever team Carson Wentz is on when his contract is done?

    Are you guys fucking crazy?

I'm thinking a 6th--and they have to pick up part of the contract. Maybe swap our 5th for their 6th at best.

have you seen him lately? he looked bad last tear and missed 5 games with an injury. no YAC ability anymore. he's basically a big body to help move the chains. I'd rather have the ball in moore or crowders hands at that price. I'd give him a 5th at best for him just to give wilson some knowledge and a vet presence.

Don’t think having multiple picks means we should waste those picks on a massive overpay. If anyone was offering the Eagles even close to a 2nd Ertz would’ve been traded before TC even begun.

A player does always seem to be much more talented in teal and orange.

We'll probably get a bag of footballs autographed by Alan Page if Herndon makes the roster.

On the real - don't expect anything more than a conditional 7th. 6th maybe.

Leave it tot he Jets to find the only tight end from Miami that can’t play.

Now all that's left to do is get rid of the jerseys...

Yeah, a 6th tops was my initial reaction.

Kroft and Wesco aren't great, but they are serviceable. I don't get what all the complaining about them is for. It seems like kroft was where he needed to be for our young leader, when it mattered in the preseason. The coaches might see something we don't.
