I'm obviously fine with dealing Herndon as I'd assume most people are, but who the hell is playing TE now? Kroft, Herndon and Wesco? Yikes.
Gotta agree with Kyle here. Idk what the plan is but surely JD doesn't plan on going into the season with Kroft and Griffin and the only TE's on the roster.
I would be fuckin pumped if there is an Ertz deal. It would be HUGE for Wilson and for his veteran presence on this roster
Awful trade and I'm usually a homer but I hate it; I think Chris Herndon is going to solve Minnesota's TE problems and emerge as a big time weapon for Kirk Cousins who's got one of the greatest QB Ratings of All-time. Chris Herndon Rookie x2 production is about to happen. So we got rid of our two most talented TEs in Herndon/Yeboah and are now trotting out injury prone Kroft and then absolute CRAP in Griffin (20 catches 0 TDs last year)? Wtf.
Anyone wonder still why we have sucked for so long? Where was that argument claiming free agency has played a large role? LOL
We have 4 picks in the first two rounds next year. I would be 100% down to give up a 2nd for Ertz. Game changing ability and a HUGE weapon on offense
No way bro!! You have not watched last years tape--he's a shell of his former self. Although there was a lot of bad feeling between him and management re: contract at the time.
Ertz struggled to stay healthy last year so there's that concern but the dude was a beast in 2018 and 2019. 116 catches, 1163 yards, 8 TD's in 2018 88 catches, 916 yards, 6 TD's in 2019 He is 30 so I doubt he gets close to that level of production but he would be a massive upgrade for what we have now, especially with Herndon gone.
A 2 seems a little steep to me for a 30 year old TE who struggled to stay healthy last year. I feel like the highest I would go would be maybe a 3rd but probably a 4th.
