He can also help keep the players loose and may be great for chemistry as a number of players seem to like him.
Um, that’s 2021 David clowney award winner Kenny yeboah to you Stand by for the incoming 8 paragraphs of why the Jets are wrong. Complete with high school highlights and stats.
At least DWC will get to remind us all where Yeboah went to college as he disagrees with the decision in a long post.
Every receiver has some drops. But Herndon had the drops for an entire season. When it continued in camp that was a huge sign saying, "cut him before he starts killing drives". I cant believe he is still here. Herndon contributed more than his share to the 2-14 record.
Definitely would have preferred him to Brown. He's one of the worst TEs I've ever seen come through here.
Disappointing to see Adams cut. When he stepped in for Gore last year I thought he really flashed some promise. If he’d had more of an opportunity last season I believe he’d have out performed Perrine. I hope he clears waivers and stays on the PS.
He might. The guy went undrafted then had a bad spring/summer capped off by two good catches. Fans emotions and coaches evaluations usually run different from each other on cutdown day. He has not. He was bad in the Giants game and there's plenty of reports about drops and fumbles from camp.
Yeboah was a long shot to make the roster as it was, but he was my guy. So I will say - at a position that's been dogshit for the Jets for nearly a decade, I'm not really sure what upside the three brick hand ogres Wesco, Daniel Brown and Ryan Griffin bring. Their ceiling is known whereas Yeboah's is not.
"emotions " or not, TEs that move like him are hard to find. Someone will pick him up and try to do something this team hasn't done in decades.......develop a player
Looks like JD first draft doesn’t look great, except foe Becton Mann, and Hall. Mann has been average, but serviceable punter. Good tackler. Lol. If we were honest Zuniga and Perine honestly lost their roster spots, but will still be on team. Mims and Davis are TBD, flashed some talent, but far from locks. Certainly not trending upwards. Morgan really has underwhelmed, minus the Hail Mary. Clark may be done due to injury. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fans emotions are based on naked eye observations. Coaching selection is based on a lot more than that. I do trust this CS to make the right choices
Can't disagree here. I would have kept him personally but between the performances we saw with our own eyes (Giants game), what we heard from camp (blown assignments, drops) and the fact that he was cut makes me think there's a lot going on that we DIDN'T see or hear about.
