White is definitely the better of him and Morgan but he’s not good. Would have preferred to cut Morgan and keep Johnson as the backup. Oh well… if Zach goes down we’re screwed regardless.
I guess the staff loves Mike White. I am fine with it, unless Wilson gets hurt, he comes in and looks pathetic, which has been my worry and reasoning for signing a solid back-up QB.

So we already released 3 OL and one on IR for the year which tells me our Leadership probably has some concerns about depth in this area. Hope we start hitting the wire soon. Luckily we have the second shot in this area I believe.
He's also the kind of guy you don't want to give 31 other teams a shot at when you have almost no depth at the position he plays. There's no good QB2 answer on the roster. White is just the better of the two options.

Yes, that is why I was hoping they would look elsewhere after cuts, but Ian's tweet sounds like he will be the back-up QB. Yep. That is why I want a solid back-up QB for Zach. I don't want that to happen again. You would think Joe Douglas would feel the same since he lived through it, but apparently not.
