    Me too. I thought he would wind up being our backup QB. I guess they're either going with developing young talent or believe that Foles will become available.

    Another guy I think the Jets could look at. Would be a solid TE to add.

    I know a lot of people liked him during the preseason game. Backup QB?

    Poor Josh Johnson. The guy hasn't played since 2018 and had a five year hiatus between 2013 and 2018, but he's every teams choice to be like the 4th or 5th QB when they have a bunch of injuries.

    Pierre Desir and Kalil probably even worse.
    But backing Gase was his biggest blunder.

    Shepard has had a good camp, he is set as backup. Edoga, I tend to agree with you that he sucks, and not good camp, but who’s going to beat him out? I was wrong on Johnson, he was just cut. He looked decisive and poised when I was at camp. Thought he would be the backup over white.

    Has the Josh Johnson cut been confirmed by anyone credible? I assumed we would be cutting him to bring on Mullens but:

    I think they keep only Moses/Fant initially as a T, and keep Conor McDermott on the roster. There have been some OTs cut already who are better than Edoga. Tyler Crosby is one.

    Sign that Beast!!!! He knows the system. I doubt that we will, because the Packers have said they plan to put him on the PS if he clears waivers, and they wouldn't do that to LaFleur's brother.

    Does anyone else agree with me that we should say the heck with his $3 million guaranteed contract and cut Feeney? He is awful. He's a turnstyle ala Wayne Hunter. I know there has to be someone better out there that that dumbass, and his mullet and beer can smashing is stupid.

    I would do it but I can't see JD eating $3 mil at a position where we need bodies. Feeney is awful, he always has been and it was a really bad signing. Hopefully he just never touches the field.

    Sure those are egregious, but thought signing home grown anderson was a no brainer! Bringing in perriman was even more egregious, he was hurt and not close on production to Anderson. I think the $ saved really was NOT a savings. Bit of over thought. But can’t make all the right decisions. Thankfully it was only 1 yr deal. I thought gase had his hands on this one though, JD went with it.
