You are correct that I am not a dumbass like many of those who make ridiculous assumptions because their own level of reading comprehension is low. You are also correct that I often post early in the morning, the time many night workers return home. You're also pretty close in the name creation - it was explained in the thread regarding just that a week or two ago. And while I don't really give a crap about those dopes who must find an ulterior motive for anything they don't agree with, I also take a bit of satisfaction in exposing those narrow minded idiots for what they are.
I certainly am - it is the only time when the team gets to write its own story by what they do on the field and we get to deal in facts rather than fairy tales. We can also begin to develop our opinions for the future based on reality rather than simply wishing and hoping.
What will be your take if the Jets go 6-10-1 and Wilson ends up with a passer rating of say 68 while throwing more INT's than TD's?
You realize you still not have given me your take on the game the last time I answered your request for mine. It's still your turn.
If Wilson only has a 68 PER, I would be shocked if we get six wins. The receivers are the strength of this offense. If Wilson isn't producing, then the receivers aren't producing, and if the receivers aren't producing, we'll be lucky to get 4 wins.
Didn't need fixing. Hey... I'm stoked for the new coach... I'd be even more stoked if he got us to the AFCCG in his 1st two years. What's the chance of that happening?
They would be good if the prior regime built a winner for him and went 9-7 the 2 years prior to his arrival.
I would be STUNNEDif Wilson has a 68 P.R.. I'm setting myself up for disappointment probably, but I expect him to have a rating north of 80 at least.
I expect that as well. It’ll be fun to watch a QB that has the arm to burn you deep and the field vision/patience pick you a part. They just need to give him some time. I’m excited and anxious to see Becton and AVT together week one. Hopefully they’re both healthy and ready to go.
If Favre doesn't get hurt, that team had a legit shot at the SB. Apples and oranges to what Saleh inherited.
We may go 6-10-1, but I don't see Wilson ending up with a passer rating of 68 and throwing more interceptions than TDs.
I can honestly see us having 2 top 15 picks this year. I've been watching both of the Jets and Seattle. I think there is a pretty high chance we have a top 5 and a top 15, maybe even higher. Neither team looks very good. Seattle has the FQB factor so I could be wrong on that one, but if I had to guess we can get a few good players. I hope the Jets are at least in some close games so it doesn't feel like SOJ.
Not sure where this goes but the Eagles just traded for Gardner Minshew and released Nick Mullens. Considering he knows the offense and we just spent four days with the Eagles, I would be stunned if Mullens isn’t a jet by the start of next week. also forgot to mention that Mullens is terrible
It took a real coach with a much lesser QB before that team could win. Just shows how bad a coach Mangini was really. The defense wasn’t even good. They routinely quit on him, kinda like Gase. I expect a similar turnaround with Saleh.
I guess they want a lot of depth in case of Covid or something. Also gives them a cheap backup next year when Flacco is gone.
