That may be the greatest ending to a Jets preseason game in franchise history. Led by two guys who won’t play a snap this year. Seriously though, what a great note to end on. I believe in momentum even if the result means nothing. A lot better to end a night celebrating than sulking.
I know it's only preseason, but it was great watching the fringe guys fighting through at the end. Interesting to see if Yeboah makes it over Daniel Brown (aka Erik Tomlinson 2.0)
Why did Wilson sit out again? The guy behind center for the Eagles is almost twice his age and had no issues playing a significant amount of time.
for an Ivy League guy, Ross Tucker is a fucking moron…I remember when he did mornings on NFL Radio and I disagreed with literally every single stupid opinion he had. Seriously…like super stupid takes across the board. Damn awful radio guy…can’t imagine him as a color guy
The guy twice his age is the 2nd string qb and if he goes down with an injury they still have their starter.
I think maybe they try to sneak him onto the practice squad... He was shaky in the game vs the giants with a fumble, but he redeemed himself tonight. It looks like Kroft will be TE1, we're stuck with Griffin (because of his contract), and Herndon is on his last life. Yeboah definitely has more upside than Brown or Wesco, but not sure we'll keep 4 TEs on the 53 man roster.
Why are we stuck with Griffin? I don't remember anything prohibitive about his contract that would keep us from trading or cutting him. I thought they should have cut him this spring to create more cap space. They would save cap space by cutting him, not take a big dead money hit. I have wondered about the PS, but I think they would be taking the chance that someone else will claim him, and he won't make it through waivers. Even if he made it to the PS, I don't think he'd stay there for long. Someone would sign him.
I am very proud of our guys last night! They played a great game and fought hard all night. Laughable watching the game and then remembering the tweets about how bad our second team was against Philly in practice. I am so sick of the practice conclusions being made. One day closer to the start of the season!
I was out on the ocean yesterday so evidently, I missed a death match between the 2's on both teams. Can't wait to see the game replay on NFL network when it becomes available. I read where Morgan acquitted himself but was it enough to overtake Mike White? 31-31 sounds like a very entertaining game worth watching.
