The Mets are finished for '21. Might as well throw the towel in and call it a day. Rojas and his staff have got to go. They're just not successful nor do they know how to motivate players. Cohen has some tough decisions to make and his man crush on Alderson needs to end.
How many more home runs will Hill give up before his day is over? Will the Mets ever win another game against a decent team?
Davis absolutely killing them, I have no doubt whatever team he’s playing for next season he’ll absolutely rake for though… Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Bases loaded. No runs scored. No one is surprised. Must have gotten too comfortable before the AS break.
Sounds like the pitchforks are being sharpened for Rojas. Hopefully Cohen the MetFan hears this and makes some changes for '22. He really doesn't have much of a choice to avoid a fan revolt.
It’s amazing that even as everything he does doesn’t work, he keeps right on doing it. What would he have to lose at this point by trying something different? They’ll fire him? That ship sailed weeks ago, Luis. As I’ve said before, it was obvious from the start that he was in way over his head. Of course, that doesn’t excuse the incompetence of so many of the players, too.
Rojas was not the guy the Mets wanted. It was Beltran. They should just rehire him at this point. There is a lot of talent on this team, including the best starter in the game.
Remember when we thought a 6-7 record in these 13 games was even possible? 2-11, with 7 of the 11 losses by one run. No doubt Rojas will tell us how that proves how close the Mets are, but of course the reality is that always losing the close ones to good teams just shows that you're not one. It's the old 60-60-40 rule. There are 60 games you know you're going to win, and 60 games you know you're going to lose. It's the other 40 that determine the difference between being bad or good. The Mets have lost far too many of those 40.
2 and 11 What a joke. .5 games back of first when this 2 week stretch started. Now 7.5 out lmao If I hear Pete Alonso come out and say they can flip the script and turn it around again I'm going to lose my mind. His comments last night were so cringe and just so out of touch.
Confidence is great. When it becomes overconfidence, that can be a big problem. When it becomes delusion, it’s time to shut up. I think we all know where Pete is on the scale at this point.
Another game. Another bases loaded opportunity with no runs scored. If they go on an unlikely 13-0 run, then maybe we can start to believe Pete. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
What do you people want him to say? We suck! It’s over! This team has a lot to criticize but focusing on his comments is silly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
