If accurate, my apologies, but I have seen reports, and I think it was Mogriffjr who posted something to the contrary earlier today. If it is his weight, then he needs to wake up, get his weight down and keep it down. I saw a video of him where he was working with his coach and he looked a lot slimmer. Even in the photo yesterday where he was walking to practice in GB yesterday, he doesn't have nearly the bulk around the middle that he had last year.
Becton is getting beat every day. What do people think is wrong with him, if not his weight? Suddenly he forgot how to block?
Frankly, "Reading between the lines" is quite often utter BS. It simply reflects that person's biases and perspective (usually negative/cynical).
Sometimes the only way a beat writer can report a controversial story is to hint at it or talk between the lines. A prime example is Magini's mental health issues when he was coach. A few beat writers starting in Mangini's 1st training camp hinted at it but none would outright say it. Compare that to a guy like Mike Westoff who bluntly said that Mangini went over the cliff into what one can only presume meant to crazyland when he no longer had Westoff around to keep him from acting on his own worst impulses. Even when a story covered many of the bizarre and crazy things Mangini did in Cleveland they never said a conclusion as to his mental health they just spelled out the crazy acts. So yes there is a place for between the lines as often it allows writers to give a conclusion without stating one. But, I also agree one must be wary of bias.
Was lawsons injury due to an unnecessary bad hit by someone from greenbay? If it was put a bounty on a star this coming week…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If he got rolled up on wrong due to some unnecessary shit it could Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Even if he were rolled up on, I highly doubt that would be labeled an unnecessary bad hit. That is likely on accident, if it occurred that way. Not to mention one of the Jets beat writers would have posted it if it were a nasty hit
