Excellent point about the foot and missing time in OTAs. I had forgotten about that. That is almost certainly having an impact upon his struggles currently.
The benefit of the doubt is usually given to those who may have measurable shortcomings when they win three MVP's and a Super Bowl. Just saying. The concern wasn't over Wilson's height anyways, but rather his frail looking frame.
I read this: Packers Oline overwhelmed by young Jet D....Arron hearing ghosts. Continues to miss (badly) wide open Adams.
Very informative interview by Rodgers. Few of the things he touched on, basically coaches communicate what they want to work on to the opposing coaches, teams will also run some looks they are trying out as well. he also mentions how the operation of a two minute drill (AR says he basically calls his own in that point of the game for well over a decade) and dropped knowledge on all the Jet QB’s.
That's the first lengthy interview I've seen from Rodgers. No wonder he was tagged to host Jeopardy...
15:30 - 16:40 was particularly enlightening for me. Sounds like he feels that quarterbacking is becoming a lost art. After watching years of Darnold his comments here seem spot on. 1 read, limited audible ability, minimal understanding of defensive fronts/formations. I expect that Zach will be able to read defenses/audible when he sees fit (eventually) since he seems to be a student of the game. I hope the Jets coaches take that ability to heart and work (or continue to work) to evolve the offense with him instead of dictating it too him.
That dude is narcissism taken to another level. Yes you can get a ton of good information from him if you can power through the giant waterfall of smug pouring over every word.
