Big kudos to @KY Jets Fan for putting all these tweets here. Has made it 10x easier to follow what's happening at these practices.
Thanks for the kind words everyone!! When you're stuck in KY, you become pretty adept acquiring Jets info on Twitter haha Just a heads up, I've got a meeting at 1pm tomorrow that I'll have to conduct some prep work for with my team so I'm going to have to pass the mantle to someone else tomorrow!
Meh, he couldn't help but act dick-ish because he was just reminded that he let a college kid get under his skin by questioning his style. And before anyone says style is meaningless, go look at a few pics of Aaron Rodgers in civilian clothes and tell me style is meaningless to that guy. His above it all act is just an act.
Man this sucks. Can I take your meeting and you keep updates coming? Send me the meeting invite and I will dial in!
Would you please stop with the fucking weight issues? There are no weight issues now. Those are in the past. It's fine if you don't like him, but at least use a valid reason, not some made up BS!
Who in the fuck are these no-name players of whom I've never heard getting sacks today? The Jets' OL must really suck. We might as well accept that it's going to be a long ass season, and Zach is probably getting hurt. Meanwhile, I've heard nothing about our DL getting any pressure at all on the Packers' QBs.
thanks for all the updates, fellas iirc, Becton's "concern" when drafted was lack of pass blocking reps.
Finally!!! I was beginning to wonder and worry. I know that GB is obviously a lot better than we are, but still...There has been little good news so far. Yes, hopefully our CS and players are learning a lot, but it is still very concerning.
I agree, but IF the LT is having to worry about helping the LG, then it could. I'm not saying that's the reason that Becton is struggling, but it could be part of the problem.
Is Becton your cousin or something? He literally had a weight issue as recently as a month ago. I'm questioning his professionalism because he came into camp overweight. Relax.
I agree. He's not a stud in pass protection yet, but with the exception of a couple of games last season, he was at least solid. He's looking very shaky so far this year. It is definitely concerning. I still believe in him, but he's gotta start putting it together quickly.
I really wanted the Jets to draft Alexander the year he was in the draft. It made me sick that we didn't. He's been awesome in the NFL.
