To me this is the same as people citing Peyton Manning's slow start when trying to defend Darnold. Are there some guys who take longer to develop? Sure, of course. Most good players are good pretty quickly, though.
I'm not ready to throw in the towel either. I see a lot of people acting like Becton is some bonafide stud, though. I have a long list of concerns with him.
I think that's a perfectly reasonable take to have on him at this point. I hope he continues to work on his game because he could be a stud but he is definitely not one at this point.
I'm not sure if this is something worth watching with Jarrad Davis, but on the first episode on One Jets Drive, there was a segment on Carl Lawson and in one of the scenes he is chiding Jarrad Davis for some kind of behavior that happened prior and telling him he was one of the leaders of the team and shouldn't be doing that. Those 2 things together may amount to nothing but it makes me wonder if he's a bit of a hothead. Hopefully it doesn't turn into unsportsmanlike flags during the season.
WOW. I thought AVT move was great as it is, but I recall few folks not happy, since we could have still had Jenkins plus extra pick. This should remove all debate about it.
The kid can play. Does he need to work on things yes. He has already showed he belongs now it is about taking it to he next level.
