Bud Ryan Tannehill in 6 years at MIA had 123 TDs to 75 INT & completed 63% of his passes and had 87 QBR. If Darnold was doing that, we wouldn’t be in position to draft Wilson.
he wasn't as bad as sam, but he wasn't good. he was bad enough for miami to let him walk and draft tua which BTW they were in position to draft due to his play. nobody lets a FQB walk in free agency. we got more for sam, then miami did for letting tannehill walk so the NFL seems to think sam has more to help a team then tannehill did leaving miami. He was 42-46 as a mimai starting QB, 0 pro bowls, 0 playoffs in a 6 year career. since going to tennesse in only 2 years he's 18-8, 2 playoff runs, 2 pro bowls. it's still night and day. only you would split hairs over it because your are just miserable and feel the need to try and make others that way with no success. this is why you never stay off ignore very long and your about 1 asinine post from being added there indefinitely. the forum is much better without your content i noticed form the 3 times you've been on ignore this year alone. and 90% of the users here have noticed it too. tale a look in the mirror bud. you don't always have to be right or augmentative to everyone here just because you are in a mood. It's a new day in jet land. a GM we all love, a new HC, new QB, young talented team, new QB, cap room and draft picks up the wazoo. Why can't you just chill out and enjoy it and talk about it with other jet fans. maybe you need a drink, a weed, or some pussy IDK but you need something
As dumb as it is: several national media outlets/shows/pundits grading Zach Wilson #1 of the rookie QBs in preseason week 1. Just typing that makes me realize just how dumb that is. But maybe that will cool off all of the naysayers and "the sky is falling" contingency.
I need more Chris Simms pumping Zach. Goddamn I get excited when he reiterates what he's said and doubles down on it.
The first mistake, the first INT, and any misstep not only will Cimini/Cowherd jet type haters be all over him but so will all the anti-Wilson people here. They have become so ingrained in their Wilson hate that all objectivity is lost. All they care about is their fragile ego and proving they were right that we should not have drafted Wilson. Wilson hate is all they post about. It is quite sad. But, a good lesson as to how bias, ego and insecurities totally distorts and takes over peoples ability to think objectively and reasonably.
