I would take him but price-dependent I wouldn't want us to sell the farm without something written in for an injury-hit campaign but he could certainly help Wilson and the team with his skills. Of course, the worry is, was last season the start of the end for him?
@JetFan20 turn to be the negative nancy for a 24 hour period. They must take it in turns, you can almost feel the glee in their strokes as they caress the keyboard.
Its nice to hear Mims deep routes are still dangerous. Maybe that will be where he shines for us? Herndon dropping easy catches again feels like the last straw. How many drives are going to die because he dropped a wide open first down?
Rough day for Wilson again. Seems a lot of his mistakes occur when rush is in his face. Game is still moving too fast for him. Hope to see this start to improve in the next couple weeks as it slows down.
Rough day for Wilson. A vet who can start the first few weeks of the season wouldn't be the worst thing.
This defense sounds like it is going to be dangerous! If Austin and Hall step up at CB, it could be a Top 10 unit. I love the D-line, I really like the LB's, The safeties look good in Maye and Joyner. Just up to the CB's to make the unit elite.
I think that ship has sailed. The first preseason game is around the corner. I think that would be putting the vet and team in a precarious situation doing it this late.
Something is going on here and its not iron sharpening iron - as least passing wise. Either Lawson has become a legit top 5 pass rusher in the league or Becton is being revealed. I can see giving up sacks every once in a while, or having a bad day, but this is extreme. Its the same story every day. It was revealed last season Becton was susceptible to speed rushers, and that still seems to be the case. The question is - is Lawson just that good or is Becton just that weak - or what combo of these two is it? I guess we'll find out when the games start.
I think this is Lawson just dominating. Keep in mind Becton faced some of the best pass rushers in the league last year and did a remarkable job against them.
I think this is largely being overlooked in regards to the offensive struggles, including Wilson. Wilson walks into training camp facing a potential DEADLY front 7. No shit he is going to struggle
