    All it takes is a complete locker room and culture change in order to completely turnaround an NFL football team and in only 1 year too.

    We seen it with Parcells taking over Kotite. We seen it with Rex taking over Mangini. And now we're already seeing it (since day one) with Saleh taking over Gase.

    That 2-14 stink left our locker room, playing field and overall team culture the very moment Gase was shown the door (it no longer exists).

    @Brook! Created an excellent thread because this thread will age well and we're not only making the playoffs but will win the division because both Josh Allen and Buffalo is going to fall off an NFL cliff.

    It was easy for a younger Josh Allen to make the playoffs last year. While on the road there were no fans in the stands. No distractions. Perfect communication between the QB/O-Line/WRs to communicate with one another. He went 6-2 on the road and that's not happening again.

    You're going to see a young Jets team fight for coach Saleh as we once witnessed a younger Jets team fight for Rex Ryan because they believed in Rex as these kids now believe in SALEH.

    How's your boy DeVonta Smith doing? Injured? Hurt? Tried telling you Elijah Moore was 10x better than Smith and how DeVonta was just too small for the NFL (100lbs) to last in this league. But you didn't want to listen. You told me Elijah Moore was nothing more than an NFL slot receiver and boy has he been proving you wrong (and my Buffalo falling off a cliff hot takes will age better than your DeVonta being better than Elijah Moore will) ;-)

    (PS: Good to see you around man!)

    Playoffs would be great of course. I just want the Jets to compete every game. It feels like they could pull off 6-7 wins all while not getting blown out. After the last two years the arrow is only pointing up.

    I don't follow the Eagles but that wasn't the topic. You stating we are going to win the division because Josh Allen wont be effective with crowd noise was the topic.
    I hope Moore does become a star, but saying he's 10X better than Smith, or better at all? The season hasn't started yet but I understand preseason is our superbowl and probowl.

    After a quick search at the Eagles board it turns out he sprained his knee landing funny after a catch, so it had nothing to do with his size.

    You'll see. Josh Allen had it easy last year as a young QB on the road without rabid fans packing stadiums. The level of communication amongst his WR's/RB's and more importantly O-Line won't be the same this year and Buffalo doesn't win more than 7-8 games. You'll see.

    And you think that DeVonta Smith highlight can impress me or something? It doesn't.

    Those two cutbacks on the dime are nuts. His change of direction and cutting ability has never been seen before out of a Jets WR.

    Jets over Bills in the AFC East this year.

    I said your claim that we will win the division wont age well. I'm not exactly going out on a limb with that statement. The fan noise as an excuse for Allen's success is nonsense. All QBs were in the same situation last season. This season Zach is going to have to contend with fan noise, just like Allen. I don't think its going to be the determining factor in who wins the division.

    My point with the video is after two weeks of TC you have declared "Moore is 10X better than Smith" - which was a topic your introduced to the thread, not me. Maybe Moore will have a better career - who knows? But saying he is 10X better after part of an off season is green goggle mania. If that video was of Moore instead of Smith you'd be drooling over it and claiming OROY for sure. Don't worry, our wager is still on.

    What's the wager again? It's been so long I've forgotten. Was it an Avatar bet on who has the better season between Elijah vs. DeVonta?

    Ok good deal lol let's make it a 3 point system.

    1 point = most receptions.
    1 point = most receiving yards.
    1 point = most (offensive) TDs (receiving/rushing combined).

    Idk. I like the matchup in week 1 but our next 6 opponents have big receivers. I like our CBs but they’re small and young.

    You don't know?

    But yea, who's scared of their "big receivers"?

    Carolina = 5-11.
    N.E = 7-9.
    Denver = 5-11.
    Tennessee = only good opponent.
    Atlanta = 4-12.
    N.E = 7-9.
    Cincinnati = 4-11-1.

    6 of our first 7 opponents absolutely stink and you're worried about "big receivers'?

    Do any of these teams even have a QB to fear? The answer is 'No'.

    Yes. We stunk last year too but that 2-14 stink left our locker room the very moment Adam Gase was fired.

    So you’re comparing this years competition with last years record? Lol. Do you see the irony in that?

    NE has 2 top TEs and big receivers, yes that’s a problem

    Cincinnati has 3 big and talented WRs and a talented FQB.

    You don’t think we’re going to have issues with Atlanta’s 2 TE sets?

    Denver has a talented and big WR room and now has a serviceable QB

    Do you think the Jets are the only team who improved this off-season?

    When you give the record for why opponents won’t be good this year but ignore the Jets record in the same argument it comes off like you have the football knowledge of a Russian troll and the critical thinking ability of someone on the spectrum.

    Allen is going into his 4th year with the same OC and same offense. He is a legit franchise QB. I wouldn't care if their were a million fans in the stands the Bills have a very good team and will most likely win the division.

    I think you're ignoring a lot of facts while trying to make out our schedule as being "so hard".

    But now you went from big WRs to big TE's? Ok.

    A.) Not only is Cam Newton completely washed up but Bill Belichick is a career losing 61-72 without Tom Brady (.458%) throughout 8.2 years of head coaching without Tom Brady. And C.J. Mosley is 100% healthy and is an absolute DOMINANT MLB who dominates TEs over the middle of the field.

    B.) Joe Burrow is coming off a serious ACL injury and has struggled bad in training camp. And even last year @ 100% health Cincinnati was only 2-7.

    C.) Matt Ryan is completely washed up and once again. C.J. Mosley is dominant and dominates the middle of the field.

    D.) Drew Lock is atrocious but what "big" WR's are you talking about? 6'1/193 lbs Jerry Jeudy? 5'9/178 lbs K.J Hamler? Those are not "BIG" WRs. And No one is scared of Courland Sutton because he just missed all if last season and isn't even healthy enough to practice yet and may not even be ready for preseason game #1.

    E.) No team has improved as much as our Jets have and you're acting as if the Jets don't now have Robert Saleh. Who's one of the greatest football minds in all of Football. And a Defensive mastermind who just led San Francisco's defense to a top 5 Defense; despite not only being without his best player in Bosa but also having the most injury depleted Defense within the entire NFL. But yet yet he still had his 49ers Defense absolutely feasting last year.

    F.) With both Carl Lawson rushing from the Edge and Quinnen Williams feasting within the interior along with C.J. Mosley dominating the middle of the field? None of those TE's you mentioned will beat us and none of those first 7 QBs stand a chance against Saleh's Defense. And both Hamsah Nasirildeen and Marcus Maye are going to be flying around the field too.

    I'll be sure to bump this thread throughout the course of our first 7 games in order to show you who has the knowledge of a Russian Troll because the Jets will be no worse than 5-2.
