Yeah, I am thinking Johnson is just a camp arm now and it is not saying anything about the other 3 QB's really.
Normally the focus of a training camp for the media would be the shiny new FQB. But there are so many new pieces all doing well that Wilson gets less attention despite having what appears to be a great camp. So much to be excited about. Moore seems to be the dominant story. But then there is Lawson, Becton, AVT, Carter, all the young CBs and the great camp by Hall. Not to mention Saleh and the coaching staff. So many positive stories. Wilson’s performance is just an extra exclamation point. I think JD might have been right thus organization might actually support Wilson’s development. It is hard to believe this is our Jets.
Its nice to see Cashman show up. I hope he can take another step this season because I got a feeling we are going to need depth at LB.
True. Also remarkable how long it took us to get a GM who realizes that playmakers are paramount in the modern NFL. The Jets have been 5+ years behind every major league trend for as long as I can remember. We've finally shown some signs of modernity this last offseason.
Important to note that he did mention certain groups (specifically stated WR's and RB's) will continue to rotate through the different "teams". I.e. Corey Davis might catch some passes from all the QBs.
