    Sounds reasonable.

The "Beasleys" of the league have to make up their mind quickly.

As Michael Irvin put it, “How bad do you want to win a Super Bowl?'' "F- the politics. F your conspiracy theories. How bad? And if you think this is 'just a job,' you got it all wrong. "If you think this is just a job, you will never, ever, ever win the Super Bowl.''

These rules suggest vaccinated players cant infect others, which isn't true. It also suggests they cant transmit it, which isn't true. Its straight up hypocrisy. Besides, if the vaccine is so great why even have special rules? Let the unvaccinated people take risks if they choose. We don't need the government or the NFL to be our parents.

Guys have been playing with colds and flus in the NFL since the beginning.

You have a point. They need to remove the unvaccinated part.

They managed to play all games last year so I don't think it be an issue anyway.

True but last year they had to reschedule some games. Their saying this year the team with infections will just have to forfeit and pay the expenses for the league and players - including playoff games. Could be an asterisk year.

I thought it was only if the game couldn't be rescheduled.

Only if they can’t reschedule and the tv networks are not going to want to hear that they are losing games so most of not all will be rescheduled. My question is how do they determine an outbreak was caused by an u.v. player?

What do you see in the NFL rules that "suggests" vaccinated individuals can't infect anyone? As you say, that is not correct but vaccination certainly minimizes such risk.

It they said they aren’t testing vac’d players as much as unvac’d and since you can carry the virus regardless of status it’s just as probable that a vac’d players is patient 0 .

How do you figure its just as likely? The vaccine has like ~90% efficacy rate. That would make it 90% less likely that an outbreak started from someone vaccinated

The NFL has got to do something. Draw some sort of line in the sand. What is interesting is how this is going to affect the locker rooms. I know for a fact it is having an effect in MLB locker rooms. If they reach 85% vaccination rate they can loosen restrictions and players are getting pissed at their teammates if they aren't vaccinated and thus can't reach that threshold

Not sure that is accurate. There’s a lot of cases in the news of vaccinated positives .

Didn't the Steelers and Ravens play a game last season on a Wed afternoon? The league will get every game in. They want to make money as do the networks. The league also doesn't want to refund tickets to fans because a game got cancelled.

The NFL is a private organization, they can do what they want. That's how America works.

I hope so. I feel like we’ve been on a slippery slope for the last year and a half and constantly sliding further and further.
