Totally agree mims is going to be awesome this year. Im excited for the whole recieving corps. I'm surprised there isn't more talk about him.
Your barely middling knowledge of football is as consistent as father time. Despite his large size, Mims ran a 4.38 40-yard dash, recorded a 38.5-inch vertical jump, a 131-inch broad jump, and a 6.66 three-cone time. Notice his 3 cone time btw. Do you feel secure? Are you sure?
Thanks Lucille. I'll use those numbers to comfort myself while I watch corners draped all over him again this year.
Anyone who believes that Moore is better that Crowder before playing one down of professional football is a typical kool aid drinker. I’ve been saying for years that the Jets don’t retain talent. To let Crowder leave for an unknown would be SOJ move…and I’m personally at the end of my rope with this organization. Let the best man win, but Crowder has proven to be excellent at what he does, let the youngens prove themselves before we allow their college highlights to make them day 1 starters or HOFers.
You're down with the 6 now? Wow I thought you were a scared little girl when it comes to the facts of life. Loose seal?
40 time is irrelevant when talking about anyone's quickness It is not an exercise that measures quickness on the football field
This is irrelevant because Mims is quick enough he just needs to learn the short routes to get quick separation. 3 cone and the shorter shuttles tell more and he did fine on those.
I wanted to give you the one with lyrics because you're old and not cool anymore but now I realize it cut the outro which was why I sent it to you so you know to act right or....
Looks like he’s in the bottom 10% in the short shuttle. https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/denzel-mims
I mean, the Jets did exactly what they needed to retaining crowder for the season. This will allow them to evaluate their situation.
4.28 40-yard dash 39.5 inch vertical jump 6.88 three-cone Those are Stephen Hill's numbers. Better than Mims. I'm not saying Mims is Hill, but using combine measurables as evidence rather than production? Creating separation and getting open is most important aspect of the position. As of right now, I'd say Mims is our WR5 in that regard until he can prove otherwise.
I dont disagree. But Anquan Boldin never got separation either. Guy might end up in the HOF. Joe Douglas won a super bowl with him when they acquired him in Baltimore and I believe thats what he's trying to replicate with Mims. he has to stay on the field though
