You look at the mets roster on paper and their offense shouldn't be this bad. lol

It's a save situation, Diaz, you idiot.

The Mets shockingly come back to win the game, as Diaz survives the almost home run that is foul by two seats.

Not a good look Noah. Not a subject matter to make light of. Trevor is an idiot. Let’s say it actually was consensual why put yourself in this situation? You invite some random woman to your home to have rough sex. Gee, what’s the worst that can happen? He’s a moron or a moron + something worst!

No idea how they won last night.. They were brutal to watch for 6 innings. I find myself saying this quite a bit as of late, but I feel like tonight is a huge game. Win tonight then deGrom on the bump tomorrow for the sweep. Would be nice..

I wanted to see Degrom vs the Yankees but division game is more important.

As I noted months ago, it was always apparent that Bauer was a douche, but this is of course far worse than that if true.

Syndergaard is an idiot. It's remarkable seeing the difference in career path of deGrom and him. I try very hard not to get any sort of personal stake in players, but I really hope that deGrom really is as high quality in every way as he seems to be.

The article from the Atlantic about this Bauer situation is wild.

Trying to find something positive about tonight’s game. The only one I came up with is that it’s over.

Giving up 20 runs isn't easy, but our boys were up to the task!

Betances’ Mets career is over, as he is gone for shoulder surgery. Peterson immediately sent for an MRI after the game because of “sharp pain.” Gsellman has a torn right lat. And, of course, they routinely score two or fewer runs in games.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the Mets’ time in first place, because it will be over soon.
