Boone pulls another pitcher before the 6th whos dealing and less than 90 pitches. Again we lose the lead. Hes starting to become fireable
Now 8.5 games behind my Rays. YANKEES (15th) @ $108,409,210. RAYS (26th) @ $44,553,783. I couldn't imagine my Rays front office having Yankees $$$ and/or the Yankees having my Rays front office; banana's. (If only St. Pete fans such as myself would actually go to ball games lol). I think we're going to lose this team sooner rather than later. On a more serious note. Never get frustrated as a Yankees fan. Your team is the greatest Franchise of any American sports team and 27 World Series Titles (5 in my lifetime) is something to brag about and be proud of forever; which is why I dislike Red Sox fans of Boston, they act as it they're the Yankees or something. Heck. I'd die a happy sports fan if I ever get to experience just 1 Jets and Knicks Championship. As a kid I loved the Yankees I was 11 years old in 1996 and players like Jeter (Rookie), Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez, Wade Boggs, Paul O'Neill, Joe Girardi, Darryl Strawberry, David Cone (remember the movie Coneheads ha), Andy Pettite, John Wetteland and Mo Rivera as a SETUP MAN?!? etc man those players captured my heart as a kid. Guess I just lost my love for baseball after leaving NY in 1998 and then I became hooked on the underdog Devil Rays (moved to the same street as them 16th street). Keep your head up Dierking the Yankees will always be champions man.
Boone is a terrible in game manager who clearly cannot manage his bullpen properly. The Yankees are uniformly terrible with RISP. who says you can’t predict baseball, Suzyn?
I also think this marks the end of Loaisiga being a reliever you can count on. I've never really understood how he gets guys out throwing 88 MPH with meh breaking stuff. The Yankees kind of stepped in shit this year getting as much out of him as they have. He's not a late inning guy. Unrelated but Cashman should've made a push to bring Tanaka back. He got lit up in the playoffs last year and all but he would've been a good arm to have. I didn't follow too closely in the off-season - was he dead set on going back to Japan or did the Yankees snub him when they got Kluber and that lose Taillon?
