ROFL. 18,341 paragraphs of you telling me I’m wrong turns magically into - you’re right but it doesn’t matter. BTW - he wasn’t “thrown away” by Seattle. He signed a 4 year contract and played 4 years. Someone who post as many essays as you should really do better research.
He's never been good enough to develop into a full time starting OT as Rookie 2016 he started 10 games all @ OT and had a PFF grade of only 47.2 hen in 2017 tore an ACL and missed the entire season. Come 2018 Seattle forced him to the bench in order to use him as a backup TE (only 1 career catch) and 6th O-Lineman as a swingman. 1 career catch but played TE something sounds fishy. 2020. Right side of our O-Line. I'm done with Fant talk.
2,546 combined career snaps and never earned a 2nd contract from Seattle but still graded out as the worst starting OT in all of Football last year finishing dead last amongst starters 64/64 nope not happening rather not have Zach Wilson wait another 6 years when Fant's 35 before Fant finally had himself a break out season.
@KingRoach In all seriousness man. Can you provide me with just 5 NFL OT's (all time) that broke out during their 6th season @ almost 30 years old (29) and who later went on to have decent careers? Not even Pro Bowl or All-Pro's just 5 players who sat the bench for their first 4-5 years before emerging as a quality OT. With more examples maybe I'd feel a little more comfortable buying stock into Fant @ RT (you're not helping me though man).
Yes, change the subject and misquote me. Sure signs of a losing argument. As a good rule of thumb moving forward, if we disagree about something you’re wrong.
Ok I'm wrong. You're right. George Fant has All-Pro potential. And I just hope for the sake of this kid Wilson you're right.
You start by naming me 5 OL who played their first season at 23 yo. You can't, can you? (Because I'm right and you're wrong and you know it too, which is why you can't name me 5 O-Lineman examples). Weak…
No I can't name 5 mediocre O-Lineman who failed @ Football up until 22 years old and who later turned it around and became a good player can you?
First start EVER playing football. He started 5 games in college at 23. What did I tell you earlier about disagreeing with me?
Ok but that's not a good thing you know I just don't get the point you're trying to make? He's 29 and still lacks Football experience? That's not a good thing and last year throughout 14 starts and ranking 64th isn't a sign of progress or improvement.
You can easily find 7-8 1st year rookies of 2020 @ OTs who played better than Fant you can't play the experience card into your 30's sometimes you've gotta hang em up you know.
Once again, you are sadly mistake. I’m not trying to convince anyone Fant is good. I’ve made the same convincing points over and over again. 1. After only 1 year in his life as a starting OT It’s too soon judge Fant. 2. You’re not smart. Personally, I think I’ve done a fine job at both. I’m done with this conversation but as mentioned time and time again, I hope we do sign Moses.
Serious question did you watch the right side of our O-Line who Fant was 50% apart of last season? 2020 George Fant highlights on YouTube because I've looked with no success @KingRoach
Nice video about Moses and others posted today I like this kid has a passion for the Jets really good @ what he does.
