That's a momentum killer to tie up the game only to give up a goal with under 1 minute left.

Horse crap penalty too it's Playoff hockey let these kids play.

And it's 2021. Why doesn't NHL utilize automatic instant replay for every goal scored, like the NFL does for every TD?

 

TB is just too much. a step quicker, slightly better anticipation, quicker passes.

I’d take solace in the fact that we’ve been here before at 1-2 if it wasn’t for the fact of how bad we looked today to get there this time. Glad I’ll not be able to watch game 4.

 

I honestly didn't think any team could stick with TB Lightning heading into these Playoffs.

But your Islanders have battled them tough. Down 2-1 in the series and just lost a nail biting game by only 1 goal (2-1).

+ I think your Islanders embrace the UNDERDOG role with backs against the wall because you guys were down 1-2 during both Playoff series wins so far and also lost game 1 on home ice both times.

Now? Down 1-2. Just lost game 1 on home ice.

Etc.

Good news? Win game 4 and this SERIES is probably going 7 games.

 

Game 4 is the season. We fall behind 3-1 then forget it. Can we get Wahlstrom in there please. The kid can shoot the puck unlike Leo. Need to put our best offense out there for game 4.

 

I promise Islanders. I'll stay away from this thread game 4. I feel like a jinx as a childhood NYR fan in the 90s rooting for the Islands (Jets players pumped me up big time for you guys).

That was an unbelievably insane ending.

I'm a data analytics guy and all signs pointed to an Islanders win while down 2 games to 1 and also yet again coming off a game 1 home loss = follow the trend. Islanders win.
