If you liked Sicario, you'll love "Queen of the South".

I don't disagree, but it's that hilariously bad.

'The Third Man'. I just caught it for the 50th time the other night. I love this movie.

'Strangers on a Train', I love this flick as well. Patricia Highsmith was a bitter, chain-smoking lesbian who hated everyone. I can relate on the bitter chain-smoking part. I just re-read 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' last year. It still stands as a portrait of narcissism that will always stand. She was also highly anti-Semitic (gross), so sometimes I'm not sure where you draw the line. This isn't cancel culture, just an observation.

EDIT & P.S.: The murder victim looks like Shirley Jackson. That's not an accident, no way, no how.

Speaking of Hitchcock, I really liked 'Hitchcock'. People have no idea what it actually takes to make a film. Hitchcock's wife had so much input with the music, she was the unspoken force behind 'Psycho'.

Not a film, but Black Summer season 2 just dropped on Netflix.

Great show if you like real tension zombie shows.. basically the opposite of Walking Dead. Maybe a little too light on character development, but the action is extremely tense.

Saw "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard" and it was pretty funny. Be advised if you have a low tolerance for cussin, this is NOT your movie. Lots of familiar faces in this movie as well. Honestly, its entertainment and yes, a money grab. Got nothing going on? Go see the movie. Wifey and I did enjoy it and she has a far lower tolerance for cussin than I do... :)

Nice! I haven't seen the original, but it did look like a fun sequel from the commercial.

I am excited for Black Widow. Only a couple weeks away now!

I'm looking forward to "The Tomorrow War" on Amazon Prime. Looks like it might have some substance instead of the typical SciFi formula they use these days.

Yeah, I am excited for that too. Comes out Friday I think. Looks interesting. Chris Pratt has made a nice action career for himself.

If you like musicals, I recommend "In the Heights" - Lin-Manuel Miranda's first Tony winner (pre-"Hamilton"). My wife and I liked the show a lot when we saw it live, and we both felt that they did a very good job adapting it to the screen.

An oldie but greaty, I'll always love this over the top flick. 'Gloria'. Cassavetes was nuts in general.

EDIT & P.S.: The plot is really silly, but so worth a watch.

I may check it out this weekend. I'm not a big musical guy, but I did like Hamilton.

I watched 'Bronson' again a few nights ago. Tom Hardy rules. What a crazy flick. The real life Bronson may actually be getting out. Yikes. Tom Hardy is so intense he probably won't live long.

It definitely has hip hop aspects to it, like "Hamilton," but more classic musical-type songs, just of a Latin persuasion. And, of course, it is much more grounded in reality than was "Hamilton."

I thought it was pretty good. It's one of those series that has an Indy low-budget feel without being doofy looking and corny. Well done. Wish they made season 2 a couple episodes longer to be honest.

'Unseen', Holy Hell, that documentary, I honestly can't recall when I've been that disturbed. Do it or don't. There's one major success story that comes out of it and a major survival story. It's really hard to watch. WTF with that guy. He died recently while being on Death Row. See ya. 11 bodies on his property, house got demolished like Ariel Castro's. What goes on in Cleveland, OH. What the fucking F.

And yes, his last name was Sowell, if anyone is wondering, haha.

I know none of you guys like this movie, but it is one of the 3-5 greatest films of all-time, and this scene....the acting...the writing, the lighting, the editing, etc....is cinematic perfection.

I mentioned this show in the "Golden Stream" thread. I like the fast moving zombies, makes it more "realistic" I think, if realistic zombie were a thing. Didn't expect much when i first started season 1 so I was surprised it turned out as well as it did.
Been on the road so haven't been able to watch any of season 2 yet but it'll be one of the first I watch when we get back
