the fact that Sabo said everything is quicker and the ball was rarely on the ground... that he was simply visually better than Sam in the OTAs helped
I think this time of the year it's ok to be optimistic. Like the song sung by the Byrds, Turn Turn Turn...there is a time for everything. Enjoy the good & be GLAD while you can, & hope for the best. If it doesn't work out then it's time to be SAD . Turn Turn Turn. That's all part of being a fan.
I just shared an elevator with Zach Wilson at MSG. I’m 6’4” and he was eye level. Sadly enough, after meeting him for a solid 27 seconds, I feel ten times better about him.
with all due respect, I don't believe you @BroadwaySam we all know you are no taller than 5-7....5-8 TOPS....
Seeing that he wasn’t made of toothpicks like certain posters would have loved you to believed made me feel a lot better and it’s sad that it was even a concern.
Fool. I'll be rocking my Kerry Rhodes, Modell's Boys XL with iron on decals. Cost: $24.99 back in the day because I'm not a cheap fck. I'm frugal. I never really understood the rush to buy a jersey thing. I honestly don't get any of it. Get a jersey of an established player or otherwise you'll be going old school and sticking masking tape over the back of it and writing in something else, haha. Probably one of the funniest things I ever saw at a Jets game was someone who had a Darrelle Revis jersey on but taped over the 2 for the 4 for Favre and wrote Fava Beans on it. That was right after Brett Favre perved that useless waste of space, Jenn Sterger.
I'm not making light of sexual harassment. I used to call him Brett Pevre. One has naught to do with the other. Jenn Sterger was awful.
After nearly 40 years of following this team, I have learned that offseason moves don't always work out - in the past I have been excited about the drafting of Al Toon, the free agent signing of Neil O'Donnell, Chad Pennington falling to us in 2000. Some things work out, some don't, but I only really get excited during games when the Jets are competing and giving me a reason to be excited. I'm not sitting here like Eeyore. I am anticipating improvement this year and I like the last couple of drafts and the players we have brought in during free agency. I won't get excited about 'great practices', or sections of the defense giving themselves nicknames or an interview where an injured player says he's really 'better than ever'. I've heard it all before, many times, and it means NOTHING. I will watch preseason games to see how the rookies look, but I won't get excited unless something really special happens. I WILL be excited when the season opens and I will watch my Jets every week, win or lose, and I'll be back next year.
