Okay, they've confirmed that he had one other inning in 2018 that was just about as bad as this one, except in that one he didn't give up a hit or a run (just three walks).

Damn, hopefully, it's nothing but soreness.

Castro comes in, first two batter HBP and walk (on four pitches). This is starting to feel like a disaster in the making.

Castro comes back and gets out of it without a run given up.

What's the record for number of RBI at the start of a career before your first base hit? Mazeika is now up to two.

I liked Asdrubal Cabrera when he was here.....he's looking a little portly these days.

Diaz completes the brilliant five-out save, and Villar and McCann screw it up by letting a pop fly fall between them 10 feet from the plate. Unbelievable.

Diaz closes it out anyway with the whiff. Mets win fifth in a row for the first time since 2019.

Rojas better be right in taking out Stroman, or it's just another example of how over his head he is.

And it takes one pitch for it to be wrong - not only because the sac fly drove in a run, but because Loup's pitch was terrible, and it could have easily been an extra base hit.

I know NYGalPal disagrees, but Rojas HAS to go.

Stroman showing up Rojas as he storms off after the sac fly. It's very clear that many of the players have no respect for him.

Stroman back in the dugout - I wonder if another player told him to get his ass back there.

Almora with the great catch in dead center, runs into the wall face-first, drops the ball (becomes a triple), but is able to walk off on his own power.
