yah it’s possible....I just saw 4 RBs plus a FB makes 5....I don’t think most teams carry 5 RBs, but maybe SF does, and if we’re going RB by committee it’s certainly possible. I like both Ty and Josh Adams from last year, we have Coleman and now Carter, so to me Perine is the odd man out, but he was a JD pick only last year so will be interesting to see what we do with the RBs
we also have like 6 TEs. I think wesco plays FB for us with herndon starting at TE and griffin/kroft/brown backing him up. Yeboah is either cut or PS
And a bit slow for a RB lol. It's more of a joke than anything but he's probably not going to succeed in this league as a RB. He's not explosive enough. When he gets going, his top speed is good enough. But at the LOS he looks like he's wearing cement cleats.
I think Wesco could be interesting. He has the size and the speed. He’s a “blocking tight end” so he’s used to knocking people over.
it's amazing to me we drafted him in the 4th round and in 2 years we only used him as a FB once to run on a 4th and 2 where he got stuffed. gase is such a POS
If we traded back from 3 to 10, I imagine we’d get an extra 1st in 2023 and keep the trend of 2 1st rd picks going. But realistically I don’t see Seattle being bad enough to garner us a #3 overall pick
early projections have us picking 6th right now lol. PFN has the top 10 as 1) lions 2) texans 3) Jags 4) eagles 5) bengals 6) jets 7) giants 8) falcons 9) broncos 10) giants (via chicago) I can't argue with most of it except i'd move the lions down to 5 and move all the teams behind them up 1
Yup that's the advantage of having a high pick....if there's a great player there, hopefully pass rusher, TAKE HIM! If not, trade down.
Funny I don't see the Panthers picking #1 since according to TGG they just traded for the worse QB ever!
Idk, lions have been trash for so long with the one saving grace being their QB and now they downgraded there.
A 4.9 is speed? Anthony Becht ran a 4.78 and he was stuck in the mud. Wesco was an UDFA that Maccagnan made a millionaire for no reason. He had 28 career catches at West Virginia.
They didn't spend much. Just galliday and jackson really. the rest were small contracts. they also released a pro bowl level OG to make cap room. they also have 0 room and need to rework some contracts to make some room to sign rookies
Ya ur right, but they spent a ton last year too on DBs. 2 years of high draft picks and high FA spending and they're still picking in the top 10. To me that's funny shit right there! Plus their LT they picked first in the draft got benched!
true but even as trash they still won 5 games. and now they have a new HC and lots of picks to rebuild. but you make a great point since they only won 5 games and downgraded QB and lost golliday. still i can't see them being as bad as the texans thouugh. they won 4 games with watson, many expect watson to be suspended this whole season. he's all they have really. they are really bad and trending down.
