Draft is almost over and I think the Broncos killed it this year:

    Pick 9 (RD1)

    Patrick Surtain II CB, BAMA
    Height: 6-2, Weight: 202

I love his game. He is one of those corners who will be sound from the minute he steps on the field. He will be a star. (Pete Prisco) A

    Pick 35 (RD 2)

    Javonte Williams RB, UNC

    Height: 5-10, Weight: 220

This back brings it on every run, and can slash as well as laterally make defenders miss. Contact balance is high-end. After losing Phillip Lindsay, this is sensible but a tick early for a back. He's a good one though. (Chris Trapasso) B

    Pick 98 (RD 3)

    Quinn Meinerz OL, WIWHIT

    Height: 6-3, Weight: 320

Can play anywhere on the interior up front. Big-time athlete and a serious finisher. Needs to tone down the aggression in pass protection. Huge Senior Bowl. Love the depth up front for Javonte Williams, Drew Lock. (Chris Trapasso) B+

    Pick 105 (RD 3)

    Baron Browning LB, OHIOST
    Height: 6-3, Weight: 240

Blossomed late in this Ohio State career. Thick, good rangy. Instincts are hit or miss, and may need time to develop in coverage. Good blitzer. (Chris Trapasso) B-

    Pick 152 (RD 5)

    Caden Sterns S, TEXAS
    Height: 6-1, Weight: 207

Explosiveness and experience. His trademarks. Some coverage hiccups but the athletic talent and flashes of big-play potential make him enticing. (Chris Trapasso) B-

    Pick 164 (RD 5)

    Jamar Johnson S, IND
    Height: 6-1, Weight: 197

Explosive, ball-tracking master with great instincts in coverage. Ask Justin Fields. Tends to lower his head as a tackler rather than square up but can lay the lumber. Quality value selection. (Chris Trapasso) A-

    Pick 219 (RD 6)

    Seth Williams WR, AUBURN

    Height: 6-3, Weight: 211

Big, rebounder type with a good frame for that role. Body control and high-point skills are impressive. Not a consistent separator and could play more physical in his route. B-

    Pick 237 (RD7)

    Kary Vincent Jr. CB, LSU
    Height: 5-10, Weight: 189

To me, the best pure slot cornerback in the class. Smooth and explosive out of his breaks and routinely plays the football aggressively in the air. Opted out in 2020 but was a playmaker in 2019. (Chris Trapasso) A-

    Pick 239 (RD7)
    Jonathon Cooper EDGE, OHIOST
    Height: 6-4, Weight: 257

Active, decently bendy EDGE with pop in his hands and good closing speed to the QB. Jack of all trades, master of none. (Chris Trapasso) B+

    Pick 253 (RD 7)

    ???

The Broncos have Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater at QB, and they passed on Justin Fields. I'd give them an F.

They are the front runners in the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes.

If they land Rodgers, then I'll change my mind. But I doubt they will because even if Rodgers gets traded, what do the Broncos have to outbid other interested teams?

Broncos could have had future HOF QB Justin Fields and passed. They will regret this.

Surtain may be the best player in this draft.

Nobody knows how good Fields will be, but if you need a QB, you don't pass on a top QB prospect for a top CB prospect. Especially when nobody knows how good Surtain will be either.

The Panthers’ draft looks pretty good. It will look even better if Darnold gives them anything.

I wasn't a fan of the Horn pick but the rest of their draft was solid.

Mashall was a nice value and they killed it on six picks in a row during rounds 4-6.

Aren’t we contractually obligated to say the Jets?

Some teams filled needs, and other went on BPA. We did great on picks 1-4, then I felt the Jets just picked a bunch of guys for defense who they will throw out there and hope 1-2 can contribute. The last half of our draft didn't look impressive and maybe will fill a hole when things shake out. I will trust that our defensive minded coach can get the most out of those guys. I still give us an A grade because our first four picks will all be starters and contributing week one. Now I hope we bring in some good talent as FAs. Problem is, what good players with multiple choices would willingly sign with the Jets?

1 through 4 were home runs for the Jets.

I think Broncos Browns came out winners I agree, made them better. Also think Ravens did very well and got a WR and just made their running game more punishing with couple of OLs and a FB.

thought Jets did well in first 4 rounds and add speed at Defense.

I mean at the back end of the draft.....thats all you can hope for. Honestly there werent that were probably that substantially better than what we have/took.

The oline should be improved theyre figure out how to get the defense rolling and i think in 3 years, well be a top team.

I think by then Buffalo will have contracts that will start to make them weaker, the pats i expect to fall off and i cant see beli coaching another 3 years. Miami is on the rise but i do not think highly of Tua.
