Eskridge and Atwell way over-drafted. Small fast gadget guys. Also the fuck are the Rams and Seahawks doing with all these receivers.
Yea like we talked about i thought he would go early third but I had a feeling someone might fall in love with him.
im not saying we MUST or definitively will move on from Crowder. Just saying that anyone who thinks this was a bad pick because we already have a good slot in JC is thinking very shortsided. That said, i do think the money saved on JC could help us fill some holes in the secondary, and i would not want EM to lose reps just because JC is still there.
They need to just give comp picks to like the worst 7 teams. The only teams that get comp picks are the good teams that develop a roster through the draft who don't have to spend in free agency. What a dumb system.
If they really wanted to help the worst teams out they would give them extra comp picks each round after the 3rd. So Comp 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Then to *really* help those teams out they would pull a comp pick for each free agent the team signed that was not their own guy. Pull the 3rd rounder for the first free agent signed, the 4th rounder for the second, etc. Make the picks no-trade the way the old comp picks were. They could give the bottom 4 teams each a full complement of picks then the next 4 get extra 4th to 7th, then the next 4 get 5th to 7th, 13-16 get 6th and 7th and 17-20 get extra 7th round picks. They should do the free agent prohibition for any free agent signed not just big contracts. Then after the draft the teams are free to sign whomever they want. Bad teams sign too many big free agents year after year. It takes a league to elevate a bad team.
The last 3 picks Bills have made in rounds 1 and 2 have been edge dating back to last year. Complete overhaul. Epensa, Rousseau and now Bashom
