Love the player not happy with the positional value. Waiting to see what happens with Crowder now.

 

I didn’t think the OL was that awful last year. QB and play calling/offensive system were the biggest issues.

4th mcgrone and long
5th wiggins and shi smith or tutu atwell
6th javian hawkins and tony fields

 

it was but injuries and lack of cohesiveness really hurt

 

Can't underestimate that the more weapons that can win one on one, it allows you to keep an extra blocker in at times. We legit have 4 WR that can beat their man that force a double or two and allows us to keep a TE and RB in to protect.

 

I love Jenkins, and losing him hurt, but I'm ecstatic with Moore. I didn't think we'd have a shot at him or that JD would take a WR that early.

Just as speed WRs are worthless if the QB is on his back, great OLs are useless if the WRs can't get open or catch the ball

No sarcasm. I just don’t know what the value of Mel liking the pick or hating the pick really is. There’s a whole thread dedicated to shit on Mel just because he was less than enthusiastic about our 1st round. To quote a few who took the time out to express their displeasure with Mel “who cares?”. LOL

Moore is probably here more for the Jet Sweep and the threat there of as opposed to us going to air it out finally. The 49ers have a lot of plays (run or pass) with that action tied to it. The threat of Crowder taking a Jet Sweep was not going to move the LBs. Moore makes those plays work.

 

At RB there's Kenneth Gainwell, Chuba Hubbard, Khalil Herbert, Javian Hawkins, Demetric Felton, and Jermar Jefferson

At CB Paulson Adebo, Tre Brown, Aaron Robinson, and Rodarius Williams

He can't tackle. What good is a light LB who can't tackle?

It was awful early, but the second half of the season was much better.

 

Then there is Arizona who only draft linebackers and WR's.
