I don't remember if I pounded the table for him last year. But, one bad game against Chase shouldn't define his career.
Do the Jets actually have a GM that knows what they are doing? Joe Douglas' has had 5 first and second round picks in 2 years and he has drafted: Becton Mims Wilson AVT Moore 5 players at 3 of the 5 most impactful positions in the modern day NFL. Whether or not they are hits is another story, but the dude is actually making picks at high impact positions.
He got smoked early in the year this year. I know you said he improved and I'll take your word for it.
He’d be a 4-3 Will, in the mold of Darius Leonard. You wouldn’t want him at MLB. WLB is the second most important LB these days. SLB are the ones who usually only play 1st/2nd downs.
we just used 2 1sts 2 3rds and a 4th on lineman in the past 2 drafts. plus we signed fant and mcgovern to big contracts. and we have 5 premium picks next year (1-3 rounds) if we want to grab an OG and future fant replacement. we are ok at o-line for 2021 and have plenty of money and picks to add to it for 2022
wasn't me. I never really considered him as I wanted later round WRs and didn't think he'd be there at pick 34 anyway
We'll find out this year. FWIW, Okudah had a rough year and he was the top CB prospect. The position has a learning curve even for the best.
Hope you’re right brother. Our O line was SO FUCKING BAD last year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had him mocked to us in in the 3rd and you wisely said he would be gone. So glad we got him this was a home run
I love Crowder, and earlier said that he could be a great mentor for a slot WR that we took this year, and that is a valid approach, but we could also trade him, and use the $10 million to sign one or two of Sherman, Nelson, Poole, and the LBs still available.
Well I see you all in round 3. I don't think we got the ammo to deal in round 2 w/o giving up too much.
we had 5 new starters from 2019 including a rookie. no mini camp, no time to gel and lots of injuries. every player on the line missed time. we started 8 different o-line combos out of 16 games last year. having an offseason, adding AVT, and having time to gel and brining back 4 starters plus being healthy the o-line should be very improved for 2021. i'd even say above average
he's probably worth a 5th. we have plenty of late round picks. wouldn't be worth it to take away a guy who could help wilson a lot in 2021
