Moore is way faster than Crowder. I like Crowder, but he's not needed at this point. That's why I preferred an OL or RB here.
Although Crowder saves $10m in cap space if you cut him, I have to believe they want to use both and we're seeing the type of offense they're going to run
this is NOT just about 2021. Crowder is pushing 30 and makes $10mm. He needs to be replaced in 2022 at the latest regardless
Lets put it this way. Slot was one of the few positions that produced last year. Then we sign a FA slot guy for 5.5 million and use the 34 pick on another. And we prioritized that over building a top o-line? My grade for this draft is falling.
Do you really think he'll get a 3rd for Crowder? If so, that would be awesome, but I'd be surprised. I guess he can use one of the 6th or 5th round picks.
Atlanta has reached on prospects more in the past 5 years than even the Jets in the first couple rounds.
I'd give up Crowder and a 6th or 5th, but not any picks from next year. That's going to be a very deep and strong draft except probably at QB.
Crowder's value is probably in the 5th round guys. Think of some of the stud receivers traded for less or not a lot given the talent over the past couple years. HOF talents.
