I think you're totally wrong on the ego. He's a very humble kid. He doesn't have a sense of entitlement. If he had such an ego, he wouldn't have stayed at BYU and competed for the starting job this past offseason. He had offers from several PAC 12 schools. He could have transferred and played on a bigger stage. He played at 75% in 2019 when he could have sat out, strengthened his shoulder, but he put his teammates above himself and his possible NFL career. His QB Coach at BYU told him that he probably should sit out that year and think about his future. Ego-driven players don't put team first, or humble themselves to compete again.
Don't confuse the issue with facts! LOL They don't care anyway. It would just get in the way of their agenda.
The draft "pundits" don't know jack shit. NFL personnel people overwhelmingly had Zach as the #2 QB in the draft. Kiper, McShay and all those tools in the media can suck it.
Welcome Aboard... like his confidence and the fact that he "loves" film study which will translate very well in the NFL.
I agree re the pundits. I just found it interesting they seemed to be on the same page with this, usually a few go against popular spin. We’ll see Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kiper , McShay, Herbstreit and Prisco to name a few. Some are more vehement than others but all seem to agree Jets took the wrong guy. I give these knuckleheads no great credence, I just found it interesting they seem to be in concert Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I guess SF took the wrong guy too. And Denver, who actually needs a QB but decided that Fields wasn't worth the pick. If you want to roast a team, those two are far more deserving than the Jets who actually took a QB that many had as either the best or second best in the draft.
This is a great video. He is truly growing on me with his enthusiasm to play for the Jets. Heck yeah! Godspeed kid!
