    Great work.

    I'm starting to believe that we won't be taking a RB this year. I think with the acquisition of Carolina's second round pick year, it's more of a possibility.

    @PennyandtheJets

    Btw, I watched your latest mock draft on your channel. I'M A SUBSCRIBER! WHERE'S MY GIFT CARD?!?

    I have two problems lol. First, I don't think Dylan Moses is making it to the fourth round. I would definitely love to add him if he's there but I think you may have to grab him in the third if you want him.

    My real issue is with the wide receiver position. We have to add somebody earlier in my opinion. There are better prospects than the guy that you're choosing. Next year we are going to most likely lose Crowder and Cole. So we need to have someone in the wings ready to step in. This is a very deep wide receiver draft just like last year. I feel like we need to add a potential starter.

    LOL! We are giving the gift card away this Wednesday on our stream :D

    I believe I picked Moses in round 3 no? Pick 86? Definitely might not fall that far. A lot of the guys I picked definitely might not make it to those slots.

    Listen my man...If it were up to me, we would take an OL at 23 and then at 34 we would take Kadarius Toney (if he is still there). I agree with you though, we have two guys who are on 1 year deals. Definitely need to add to the group. Can't wait to see how JD addresses the WR room.

    I am all for spoiling our rookie QB. Just not sure if JD will do that.

    My fault. I've seen a bunch of mocks. Must've been confused. Moses at #86 seems like a good spot.

    I love Toney and was all over him early. I've cooled a little on him... Not so much him as I think the rest of the class is deep enough that round 3 will have great value for WR.

    I absolutely love Eskridge out of Western Michigan. I would take him at #66. He is a little bit older (24) but am undeniable talent. Plus he is an elite KR. 5'9" 190lbs 4.35 speed. 18.5 y/c for his career (23 y/c this year). He's an explosive playmaker similar to Toney and you get him a round later. Plus he is a very willing blocker.

    I like where your head is at. JD clearly has a thing for solid blocking WRs.

    I'm not sure whether that was true of JD before he hired Saleh, but it's definitely a desired trait by LaFleur and this scheme.

    Yes he does, but that doesn't prove that JD wanted a WR who can block. He very well may have, but Mims was really the best WR left at that point in the draft. It could be just a matter of his taking Mims because he was the best WR left. I'm certain that his blocking and being a complete player didn't hurt, and you may well be right that JD wanted a WR who could block (and I agree that you're probably right), but really until he says that is the type of WRs he will draft, or we have examples of his drafting WRs who can block in other offensive schemes, we can never know for certain.

    Just to be clear, I do agree that your stance is probably correct. I just think we look so hard for patterns in GM's decisions so that we can try to figure out what he is going to do in FA and the draft, that we (almost everyone) rush to those conclusions, and our logic/reasoning can be flawed.

    Agreed, NC. I don;t necessarily disagree with Penny, but I agree with your larger point, that sometimes we all get too caught up trying to "read the tea leaves" so to speak, in an attempt to predict what our GM is going to do, and in doing so, we get lost/can't see the forest for the trees.

    and @PennyandtheJets , . Just fyi. I enjoy your youtube Jets podcasts.

    No worries man. You are right. We fans tend to overanalyze every move our team makes. Just the nature of Sports fandom.
